Sony Ericsson W8

The company Sony Ericsson has created a number of unique handsets in the past. They offered unique features as well as hardware that no other phone manufacturer had to offer. One of these handsets is the Sony Ericsson W8 “Walkman Phone”.
you might not think much of this new handset by the joint venture between Japan and Sweden. Honestly speaking, it looks like any other Android touch screen smartphone. It does not sport a large display. It doesn’t look like it comes with the latest hardware and software.
So what makes the Sony Ericsson W8 so special? It comes with TrackID music recognition. The smartphones is optimized to make users enjoy more from the feature. What’s the feature all about? The service allows users to record short clips of tracks. You can record a few seconds from various sources such as the radio. The short recording is now sent to Sony’s servers. It is then compared to vast music database. Once there is a match, information such as artist name and album name.
